Boots, I’ve got 6 pairs of issue boots: 2 pair of desert lightweights, 2 pair of desert cold weather, 1 pair of black jungle boots and a pair of black cold weather boots. They are a mix of Wellco, Altama and Belleville. A couple of pairs of cowboy boots, Justin and Tony Lamas. Rounding it out are a pair of hiking boots, one by Ariat and the other New Balance.
I’ve only got one pair of Danners. They are lonely and need some friends to keep them company.
At least seventeen. But there’s always room for one more!
5. 1 USMC Bates hot weather brown boots, 1 pair USMC Bates black ICBs, 1 pair tan Timberlands, 1 pair brown steel toe Timbs, 1 pair black cheapos I can’t wear! Haha
I own only one pair of boots and could desperately use a new/second pair.
I own 3 pairs. 2 are cold weather boots since I live in Alberta where the weather can ranger between -58F and over 100F of the course of the year! Some hot weather boots would be nice!
I’ve got three, but I could really use a nice pair like that!
7 pairs of boots, most have ben beaten to hell. I think I only wear 2 pairs of them still but I can’t bring myself to get rid of the ones I don’t wear.
Nice! Where do I sign up?! ….wait…I just did??? Nice!
I own 3 pairs of boots.
Ten pairs of boots, Danners, Rockies, Garmont & Bates. Still looking for the right light weight boot.
I’ve got 6 pairs of boots… that would be 3 pair of Altama combat boots (the old school all black leather kind, ranging from yard-work-nasties to every-day to keep-’em-shiney), 1 pair of Corcoran Jump Boots (in the even more old school WWII style oxblood leather, kept at a mirror shine), 1 pair of Gripfast knee-high steel toe boots (gotta look good at the club), and 1 pair of worn-out old Magnums. But I don’t have any modern style tactical boots, and I’ve been curious to check some out… And hot-weather boots would get serious usage down here in Alabama!
Four but could always use more.
I own 5 currently I have started throwing away as i get new
A pair of beat up Merrell waterproof hiking boots, a pair of Lowa Zephyr desert hiking boots that get the most use for me here in Arizona, a pair of 5.11 black mid boots that I got cheap, and good thing because I’m not a fan of how they feel, and a pair of harness boots.
I own 2 pairs of altamas, a pair of Lowa Zephyr Desert Boots, and 2 pairs of ski mountaineering boots.
I own five pair of boots (Merrell, 5.11, Danner, and two pairs of Warrington Pro).
1 pair Bates USMC ICBs, 1 pair Belleville USMC jungles, 1 pair Redwing work boots.
6 in various stages of boot life cycle…
I own 4
Nice!
I own one pair of Danners. They hold up really well it seems, so I will likely ware them into nothingness before I part with them. Other than that, I’ve worn through lots of twenty dollar pairs which I don’t plant to go back to. Haha!
I have a pair of Merrell Hiking Boots, Rocky Boots and a pair of turnout boots .
I own 4 decent pairs, I think. 2 pairs OTB, 1 pair of 5.11, and 1 pair of Scarpas.
Only 1! 🙁
Two pairs: one pair of light hiking boots (TNF) and a pair of steel-toe working boots…
At least 7, but if you count work boots it’s probably more like 11.
Two pairs; one pair steel toe, and one pair for hiking.
I own 4 pairs of boots, 1 pair of cheap steel toes for yard work, a pair of Thurgood steel toe tacs for work, a pair of timberland emt boots for patrol and everyday wear, and a pair of class A’s for funeral duty.
i own two functioning pairs of boots and a closet full of boots that leak and have holes. my working pairs are both about ready to be added to my collection of useless boots. i would sure love these.
I have 4the right now. Oakley combat, Altima, OTB Odins, and 5.11. Household 6 made me get rid of all my other ones. Ten years of service you can have a good stock pile.
I have 6 pair mostly issued over the years. A couple Bellville, some Danners, Bates but my favorite are my OTB 8″. Wore the OTB most of the last deployment and they have shown very little signs of wear still.
I own 2 pairs of Oakley Assault boots (1 blk 8″ and 1 pair tan 6″). And
I have a very old pair of Danner Acadia’s.
I have four pair of boots. One Vasque hiking, Two Danner work boots hot/cold. And one pair of Tony Lama.
I own 4 pair of boots, but need a new pair.
Five but four of them are ‘field boots’ at this point. Number Five only gets broken out for special days and events.

I own 5 pairs of boots, but the Lowa’s get worn everyday.

Six pairs of boots not counting old work boots and cowboy boots.
I have 7 pair of boots, 3 for work, 3 for Military and one pair Asolo’s for every day.
3. Old school Altamas in Jungle Green, they were still cool before the ACUs were introduced. Two pair of Bates. Tore up but still holing up.
6 Total Pairs… 2 Pairs Rubber Boots, 1 Pair Danner Chainsaw Boots, 1 Pair Cowboy Boots, 1 Pair Leather Wolverine…
I own 7: 1 pair of corcoran jump boots, 1 pair of danner combat boots, 1 pair of danner cold weather boots, 3 pairs of bates jungle boots, and 1 pair of black cold weather boots.
I have 1 pair of boots that i currently own but i have had 3 different sets of boots a set of Doc Martins, Magnum Stealth and now a set of Bates 6 inch boots.
One pair Army issue summer, one pair army issue winter, one pair Lunghags Pro High, one pair german noname boots with speedlace and a pair of docs from when I was young and cool. More cross-country skiing and lake-skating boots than I care to admit.
I am down too only 2 pair,Rocky sv2 and a pair of cold weather boots I was issued.
Boots, and the collection thereof, is the only apparel foible I share with my wife. She collects shoes like it’s her job. I collect boots because it *is* my job. I refuse to let go of my black Danner Matterhorns, because I know they’ll come back one day. Same for my black canvas jungle boots. Black leather steel-toe tanker boots from the heavy equipment days? Yes please. Three pairs of Oakleys, a set of NB OTBs, a couple sets of issued boots, some old Bellevilles, Cabelas, Oxtar matrix motorcycle boots, and let us not forget the crown jewel, my Corcoran Jump Boots, still polished to a mirror shine and waiting for payday activities…when I get back to the One True Division.
I don’t have a problem, I just need the right tool for the right job. That’s what I tell myself.
I own 3. One pair of bates side zip hot weather boots that I completely destroyed, zippers don’t work and a lot of seams are starting to tear, but I love them to death and wear them as everyday shoes. Second pair is a pair of waterproof Bates side zip boots, zippers got gummed up and after a 100+mile hike after a year of ownership the soles started to separate. They are now retired. My current boots are Belleville 310’s, amazing boots and I love them to death.
I have a few pair of lace ups for work and hiking. It’s hot here in Texas and I have crappy ankles, so having a hot weather boot that is also 8″ would be sweet.
Own 5 but also still looking for the perfect pair of lightweight boots Thanks
I’ve got nine sets of boots. Two basic issue black leather boots. One set of black altama jungle boots. Two sets of icw boots from Ft. Wainwright. Two sets of desert boots one Belleville one altama. One set of insulated insulated desert bootsand I almost forgot odd set of steel toed black leather Belleville’s for my current job. I never thought it was allot but the wife always complains I have more boots than she has shoes…
I own 2 pairs of Bates boots, and a pair of Rocky’s all of which were issued to me from work, I also own 511’s and Adidas GSG9 boots.
I’ve got two pairs of British Issue GP Boots, two pairs of classic magnums, an old pair of Meindls goretex boots and some jungle boots. Currently looking to replace my issued boots with a decent pair of Lowas or Altbergs.
I own 4 pairs of boots, 2 Irish Setter, A Pair of Rockys and a pair of steel toed for work.
I own 4 pair, all but one are cowboy boots. Will increasing to 5 after I receive my OTB after Christmas.
I have two pairs of Lowa GTX’s, three pairs of Blackhawk Light Assault Boots and a pair of 5.11 HRT.
I own about 12-14 pairs of boots, but I only use about 5 different pair on a weekly basis. Oakley boots are pretty solid for what i do, they break in easy and are real comfy.
I own a pair of Lowa Zephyr GTXs and some crummy black magnum patrol boots. Took the Lowas out backpacking and stepped into the river several times… No water inside whatsoever.
Two pairs of Magnums, one of which has a broken zipper. The other older pair is now 10 years old, I wore them while hiking at Philmont. Oddly the older pair was always more comfortable than the zippered ones.
I have a couple pairs of Bates, a pair of Wolverines, and a pair of 5.11’s. I also still have an older pair of Rockys that is pretty worn out.
I have one pair of Bates which I got on my own as well as 3 pairs of Danners issue boots, two jungle and one steel nose

Four total
5.11 HRT Desert x 2
Danner ?? x1
?? Jungle boot x 1
Bates (hot weather)

11 pair in all. 2 pair old combat boots, 1 pair of materhorns, 2 pair of issue all leather boots, 1 pair Cochran 2s, 1 pair of bates tactical boots, 1 pair of converse sage green boots, and 3 pair of cowboy boots. What can I say, I like boots!
I have 5 or six pairs of boots, one pair of black Harley Davidson waterproof, one pair of issued intermediate weather boots, one or two pair of issued hot weather boots, a pair of black side zipper Bates and a pair of tan Oakleys.
I may have more back in my parent’s basement from the days of black boots that were issued to me.
Two – a really old pair of boots I found in my basement (a very stiff sole, but durable and comfortable), and a pair of Atltamas I was issued.
Thank you all for your entries!
